Secure Kit voor 1 fiets

I decided to get a seasucker rack after about 2 years of owning my beloved STI. Previously owning a trailer hitch mounted kuat, I switched when I sold the kuat because it was SO hard to install. I was initially very skeptical of seasuckers, fully intending to return them when they felt flimsy and didnt hold my bike like I expected; however they really surprised me by being like a 3 minute install, and very secure.

Here are my two complaints:

- I found it is better to mount to the windshield for stability, as mounting to the roof flexes the roof ( although it does look cleaner). However the secure kit does not work here as the cable cannot reach the bike wheel from the trunk - unfortunate, but not hard to just shift the rack over some when going away from the whip.

- Secondly, I found it a bit expensive, but honestly for the security it showed, and the ease of access, it was well worth it.

Finally, a cool feature is you can just keep the rack on the bike when storing it, that way you only have to put the wheel on when you are actually riding.

I was skeptical at first even though I had heard of others using SeaSucker products. We had just purchased a new Camry before a big trip to Fort Collins, CO. I really wanted to take my gravel bike with me for some riding along the way and this worked a treat. I am so happy that I didn't have to get a trunk mount rack or try and figure out how to get a hitch on the car. I did buy the secure kit and found that the cable anchor would not work with the Camry since the rear window goes to the trunk lid. I did't want to take a chance on breaking the rear window by putting the anchor there.

The picture is right before we left Draper, UT on the last leg of our 2,200 mile trip. Thanks so much for an awesome product.

Bought a bomber kit and used it for the first time this weekend. Drove 4 hours each way through rain, dusty conditions, and traffic. Had a substantial close call that required the brakes to get hit extremely hard to avoid a rear end collision....scared the $*** out of me. The system didn't blink, bikes secure. No orange showing at all. Great product. Thanks!
