    It worked!

I was somewhat skeptical about purchasing this as I had a lot at stake. My main reason for buying this was to place this on our Harley Ultra and hope it did not fall off along with my GoPro & Re-Fuel. We gave it our first test on a first ride this year. If it shook off, we could have lost it in any one of the rivers and lakes that surround us or simply have it crash and smash up, leaving us with nothing but an unusable GoPro.

The bike shakes quite a bit during idling, but once up to speed, it irons out the shakes. Our first ride this year was about 75-80 miles, with some rough roads typical of our local area. But, it held up and am happy that it did as I recorded our adventure.

    Paddle Boarding Videos

Attached this mount to the underside of my paddle board to take under water videos while paddling. The mount worked great and I was able to get some pretty interesting videos. I did, however, notice the extra drag, but that was to be expected.

    Got washboard, NO PROBLEM!

I heard about these from a YouTuber covering SEMA. I just received mine and took it out to Big Dune, Armagosa Valley and mounted my GoPro and Insta360 X3 and ripped and roared over washboard with no problems. I came back today and purchased the extended arm camera mount. These are amazing!

    It Really Sucks😂

This mount held up through all the trails in UWharrie National Forest in NC but especially on Daniel 390 and Dickey Bell. Then the next day at the Gulches of Indian Mound Waterloo, SC. It especially stayed mounted even after getting stuck and winched out of a sinkhole obstacle name the “Water Cooler”. Not once did I see the orange ring. This is an amazing Mount!!! And I’ve recommended it to all my 4x4 family!!! Keep up the good work😁

FAQS

“Strong like bull.” 4.5” vacuum mounts have a rated pull strength of 120lbs, pulling straight out from center. Pull strength on a shear load, i.e. pulling from the side, will be less. 6” vacuum mounts are 210lbs rated. Obviously, putting multiple vacuum mounts on a single product multiplies the maximum holding power.

There’s no set time limit on our vacuum mounts. It depends in part on the surface you attach to, the condition of the vacuum mount, the load you put on it, and other factors. As for surfaces to attach to, vacuum mounts in general were designed to carry big sheets of glass and other solid surface materials, so smoother, flatter surfaces are ideal. Clean surfaces and clean SeaSuckers go a long way to maximizing the hold time. In any event, if the vacuum mount begins to lose some vacuum, it will warn you so you can get it back to full power before it comes off. The vacuum pump’s plunger will extend from the pump cylinder when it starts to lose power, revealing an orange indicator band. Once you see orange, that’s your cue to repump your SeaSucker. For car racks, the simplest thing to do is to check the rack before you get in your vehicle, and check it each time you stop for gas, food, or the bathroom.

Clean off any surface dirt from the mounting surface before attaching your SeaSucker. While you’re at it, make sure the sealing edge of the vacuum pad is clean too. You don’t have to clean the mounting surface with alcohol wipes, as one overly-enthusiastic customer told us they do, but a quick wipe with a wet paper towel or napkin wouldn’t hurt. Let us make it easy for you: get one of our Cleaning Kits.
