Great mount for my Starlink Mini on a semi truck

I mounted this on the back of my semi truck for my Starlink Mini and have been very happy with it. I was a little hesitant at first about trusting suction cups on a truck that spends a lot of time at highway speeds, but so far the mount has stayed solid and secure.

Having the Starlink outside of the cab has made a huge improvement in my service compared to using it inside the truck. I check the vacuum plungers every couple of days just to be safe and press them again if needed to make sure I’m maintaining good suction. So far, I haven’t had any issues with the mount coming loose or feeling unstable.

I also really like that I was able to mount it where I wanted without drilling holes into the truck. The mount feels well built, gives me plenty of adjustment, and worked really well for this application.

I’ll include a few pictures of how I have it mounted on the back of my Kenworth. For anyone looking for a removable way to mount a Starlink Mini on a truck, RV, or similar vehicle, I’d definitely recommend it.

Solid Performance with One Minor Area for Improvement

recently purchased the SeaSucker mount for my Starlink Mini and put it through a rigorous real-world test last week on my truck. Overall, the structural integrity and vacuum hold are incredibly impressive, though there is one small design detail that could be improved.

    The Test Drive:

I drove a total of 280 kilometers with the mount installed on my truck. The trip consisted of a wide variety of driving conditions:

150 km on the Highway: Averaging speeds of 120 km/h with high wind resistance.

90 km on Standard Roads: Dictated by an 80 km/h speed limit.

40 km on Rough Country Roads: Highly uneven terrain, including bumpy gravel patches that caused significant vibration.

    Performance & Reliability:

During a fuel stop mid-journey, I checked the mount, and it was perfectly secure with no signs of loosening. Upon arriving at my final destination, I inspected it again—the vacuum seal held up flawlessly, and I didn't even need to re-pump it. The return trip was exactly the same; the mount maintained a rock-solid grip the entire time without requiring a single top-up pump.

    Suggestion for Improvement:

My only critique is regarding the mounting hardware. I highly recommend that SeaSucker include plastic sleeves or protective caps for the exposed bolts. Because the power cable runs close to the hardware, the bare bolts can rub against the cable jacket due to vehicle vibrations, potentially causing the insulation to fray over time. To prevent this, I had to wrap the bolts with…

    Perfect solution for me

I wanted to be able to securely put my starlink mini inside on the sunroof of my Land Cruiser so that my wife has connectivity while traveling. I especially appreciate that it is essentially invisible to anyone outside my vehicle. The Seasucker holds perfectly and we have perfect reception with the Starlink mini. I was concerned about the mini overheating, but so far that has not been an issue.

    Amazing Product!!!

I purchased the Starlink Mini mount with wall kit for my boat. Attached it before leaving the dock and ran across to the Bahamas with no issues. Wish I would’ve bought this sooner. Flawless product.

    SEASUCKER Mini Starlink

Easy assembly, easy mount just apply some pressure to upper than lower suction if mounting at 90 degrees

Future hope …. an ability to angle out if not mounting at roofline of truck or RV
